Word Template Macros Not Working. However, the Edit button in the Macros dialog box is grayed out. The other one is not recommended (although I tried it once too).
NOTE: Open the templates, not documents based on the templates.

Click on File in the top left corner of the window. Click that macro to select it, then click "Run." The dialog window closes and the macro reproduces the steps you took to create the original template. To change the security settings so that you can run the macros (assuming that you trust the template's creator not to use them to wreak havoc on your machine), choose Tools » Macro » Security and select the appropriate option on the Security Level.
